Erborian BB Creme Review

If you're looking for a good, day-to-day foundation-that-isn't-a-foundation, boy have I got the product for you!

Day-to-day, I don't particularly like wearing foundation. I find it feels a bit too heavy and the maintenance of keeping it looking dewy (but not oily) and light (but still a good coverage) is something I only enjoy doing for special events or evenings out. When I'm nipping to the shops or running errands, I want my skin to look good, but without the entire application process of a proper foundation.

So, naturally, I'm always on the lookout for good products I can pop on with my fingers, that blend seamlessly, that look like skin but better, and that have minimal transfer.

Enter Erborian's BB Cream – a true hero product that's been my go-to for years. This little gem not only delivers impeccable coverage but also boasts a lightweight feel that's as close to au naturel as it gets. With just a few dabs and a quick blend with your fingertips, you'll achieve that coveted "your skin but better" look in seconds flat.

When Erborian (which translates as 'oriental herbs') debuted in 2007, their mission was clear: to craft inventive and transformative products that elevate your skincare regimen, delivering optimal results with minimal effort. Their offerings promise to enhance every step of your routine from dawn to dusk. Pioneering the fusion of skincare and makeup, Erborian presents a range of hybrid marvels, including their renowned BB and CC Creams.

So what truly sets this BB Cream apart? Its seamless blendability and minimal transfer properties ensure you'll stay looking fresh and radiant from morning till night. This product does not go patchy (at least on me it doesn't), which is a rarity. It feels moisturising and creamy, and sets with a beautiful, natural finish. I REALLY like how it looks on the skin, and for someone who struggles to find foundation-type products that work on my skin, that's high praise!

Sadly, this beautiful product does have a downside - the shade range is not great. 'Clair', which is the lightest shade (there are only 5 shades available) is still a bit too warm for those with fair skin.

Erborian has a host of different products, including skincare, that I'd love to try. Let me know if you'd like a skincare range review!
