Fenty Gloss Bomb Lipgloss Dupe!

You know I love a good dupe, and here's an absolute corker!

Fenty's Gloss Bomb is one of my favourite lip glosses. It's thick, long-lasting, and smells amazing (like salted caramel... yum!)

But at £19, it's not the cheapest of products, and in case you didn't know, we're in a cost of living crisis!

Fortunately, I stumbled across this little beauty in my local Aldi. Putting aside my feelings for Aldi ripping off amazing brands in the name of beauty (and in the name of being purse-friendly), I HAD to try it out!

Here's the Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb lip gloss in all it's glory (this shade is 'Fenty Glow' and is one of their most popular shades):

The Lacura Gloss Boss is £3.99, so much cheaper than its premium counter-part.

But how do they compare? Well, see for yourself!

This shade is called 'In the Buff' and is a pit pinker/peachier than the Fenty gloss. But once on, they look (and feel) very similar!

The one offputting thing about the Lacura gloss for me is the scent. It smells like cheap peaches, which I find very uninviting (especially when compared to the sweet, toffee-like scent of the Fenty gloss!)

However, would I wear this? Heck, yeah! It looks and feels great on the lips, and for £3.99, it's hard to go wrong!

But... do I favour it over the Fenty original? I can't say I do. You can tell the Fenty gloss is premium because it feels it. Sometimes, premium comes down to the little details - like the scent. For me, the Fenty gloss remains my favourite. But for a budget-friendly alternative, the Lacura gloss is fab!
